On May 14th, Port Credit unveiled a picnic table in honour of the LGBTTIQA2S Community. This picnic table now stands as the first public beautification artwork that celebrates the LGBTTIQA2S Community in all of Mississauga. The artwork was provided by Peel Alternative School South. It is hoped that this humble and spectacular picnic table can be an inspiration and a beacon for advocates of inclusion and for the LGBTTIQA2S community, helping each of us to see clearly and tangibly that together we can make our great city more representative, more inclusive, stronger and even more beautiful.
