With weather breaking temperatures in the negative, the 18th Annual Brogue Inn’s Polar Bear Dip was quickly changed for safety reasons, to the Hospice Snow Angel Ball, at Lakeside Avenue on January 1st. The brave came out in the freezing cold for a good old-fashioned snow angel gathering and then invited back to the Pub to warm up. All proceeds were in aide of Ian Anderson House, Canada’s first residential cancer hospice. It is The Brogue’s owner Tommy Donnelly’s dream to have one such hospice built in the Mississauga South area.
