On July 7th, Brant Street was blocked off to host the breathtaking Burlington Downtown Car Show. The exhibit had many lovely cars: classics, exotics, rods, muscle cars & euro tuners all showed off their stunning features. The local merchants held sidewalk sales, specials and kid’s activities for the large crowd of car enthusiasts in support of the local Lions Club. There was a particularly impressive 1937 Coronation Rolls-Royce on display; named in honour of King George VI’s crowning. The replica of Steve McQueen’s Mustang from the movie Bullit made a grand appearance of it’s own. About 150 cars lined Brant Street and the surrounding streets.
