The Riverwood Conservancy held their annual Hot Chocolate & Wild Birds on January 3rd and 4th, at the MacEwan Field Station. This free family fun activity delighted both young and old. Even with freezing temperatures the Chickadees came to feed out of your open palm filled with special bird seeds. Guests were treated to hot chocolate to warm up after their walk then they made bird treats with popcorn, cranberries, carrots and apples which were hung on the trees outside.
