I have three children and a rescue cat, Tinker.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST SATISFACTION?
I get satisfaction in where people are happy.
WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YOU?
There are two facts. One is that I am allergic to manual labour. The other, is that I have a “Bee Phobia.” When I was a little boy, I was stung by multiple bumble bees. My mother covered me in mud and I really didn’t like that. That feeling of being covered in mud resonates with me still!
IF THE WHOLE COMMUNITY WERE LISTENING, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
I would tell them to be kind and thoughtful to one another.
WHAT ARE SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT YOU?
– I enjoy playing the piano, classical is my favourite music
– I love history and contributing to charities
– I love animals
– I love classical movies
– I received the Life Time Achievement Award
– I have been Knight of the year
– I am the President of the Winona & District Men’s Club
– I like to cook, go for bicycle rides and take walks
– I am Catholic and I believe in the 11th Commandment,
“Thou shalt help others”
– I am bilingual and can speak all Slovak tongues
WHAT DOES THE WORD COMMUNITY MEAN TO YOU?
To me, the meaning of ‘Community’ is a circle of people who are part of your life and with you in your daily activities.
WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH?
Comedians and funny movies make me laugh.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME?
My favourite movie is “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.”
IF YOU COULD POSSESS ONE SUPER-HUMAN POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I wish I had the super human power to cure all diseases.

I’m inspired by John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s quote, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”

There are four pieces of advice that I have carried with me through my life, do not be judgmental, treat everyone kindly, always say please and don’t forget to say thank you.
