A group of ladies gathered in Aldershot with their sewing machines and their creativity to enjoy an evening of crafting, chatter and forging new friendships.
This monthly gathering in the Next Door Social Space Community Centre on Plains Road was the brainchild of Magda Harlos, who loves to sew. She makes and sells handmade, one-of-a-kind children’s clothing that grows with the child. The One year size can be easily expanded to a size 3.

Regarding the sewing room get together, Magda says, “Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to sew. You can knit, crochet, colour or just hang out.” All she asks is $5 towards the cost of room rental.

If you would like to join in at the next sewing room or check out Magda’s unique creations, search for Magdalena Harlos ’ on Facebook.
