The Victory Ball celebrated the end of the war of 1812 but, even though the war ended in 1815, the Victory Ball was not held until three years later – June 4, 1818. Two hundred years later, Nelles Manor hosted a Victory Ball on Sunday, June 10 with period-correct refreshments, local entertainment and complimentary tours with costumed re-enactors. Nelles Manor is a volunteer run museum where all money raised is put towards the restoration of the historical home.
