Visitors from far and wide attended the 3-day event that occurred August 25-27, 2017 at Winona Park. Celebrating 50 years is special – so special that our very own Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau dropped in as part of a whirlwind tour of Southern Ontario. The Winona Peach Festival is a unique based festival operated entirely by volunteers. Their motto is “People Working Together for a Better Community.” The Festival is owned and operated by 19 community-based churches, sports and service organizations that come together for this fundraising extravaganza. Sue London, from Community Captured has given us a look at Behind the Scenes work it takes to make this Festival such a success. A big thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, organizers and exhibitors.
